1/3 cup RxSugar Crystal Sugar
1 1/3 cup heavy cream
2 beaten egg yolks
1/2 tsp RxSugar Organic Vanilla Syrup
1/2 tsp RxSugar Organic Maple Syrup
4oz cream cheese (room temperature)
Three Step Process:
Step 1: Caramel
Pour 1/2 cup of RxSugar Organic Vanilla Syrup in a pan and continue to stir under medium heat until caramelized.
Remove from heat and pour into ramekin before pouring the flan mix.
Step 2: Gelatin
1/2 tbs unflavored gelatin
1 tbs water
Put ingredients in a cup or small bowl until gelatin becomes stiff.
Step 3: Instructions
Pour all ingredients together and continue to stir until it boils.
Remove from stove and pour gelatin mix then continue storing until gelatin dissolves.
Pour mixture into ramekin over the caramel and allow ramekins to sit on a cool counter until cooled off.
Place ramekins into the refrigerator covered in a plastic wrap and allow to set.
NOTE: The flan should set in about 2 hours or less.
