1 1/3 cup RxSugar®
¼ cup of flour
2 tsp ground cinnamon
6 cups sliced peeled tart apples (Granny Smith)
1 cup heavy cream

Preparation:
- Place pastry into pie plate. Trim to ½ inch beyond edge of pie plate; flute edges
- For filling: Combine the RxSugar® flour and cinnamon; sprinkle 3 tbsp into crust
- Later with half of the apples, then sprinkle with half of the remaining RxSugar® mixture
- Repeat layers
- Pour cream over all
- Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes
- Reduce heat to 350°F – bake for 55-60 minutes or until apples are tender
- Cool on a wire rack and store in refrigerator
- Serve with whipped cream if desired
